Our Mission

At Liberty International School, our mission is to provide purposeful, well-organized learning that gives every student the knowledge, skills, confidence, and character to succeed in a changing and increasingly competitive world.

We believe that a strong education begins with high academic expectations, a carefully structured learning environment, and an international outlook. From the early years through primary school, our students follow comprehensive international curricula designed to build strong foundations in literacy, mathematics, science, communication, creativity, technology, and the wider world. At the same time, our bilingual learning environment helps students develop the language skills and cultural understanding needed to participate confidently in both Cambodian and international communities.

Education at LIS is about more than academic results. Every child is an individual, with different strengths, interests, abilities, and ways of learning. Our responsibility is to help each student develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and ethically. We encourage curiosity, critical thinking, independence, good character, respectful behavior, and the habits that lead to lifelong learning.

We also believe that a successful education is a partnership between the school and the family. By communicating openly and working together with parents, we strive to make each child's learning journey positive, supportive, challenging, and rewarding.

Our graduates are an important reflection of this mission. We are proud that many LIS students have continued their education overseas and have successfully adapted to new schools, languages, cultures, and expectations. Their achievements remind us that education should do more than prepare students for the next grade—it should prepare them to meet the wider world with confidence, resilience, competence, and an open mind.

At Liberty International School, we remain true to a simple purpose: to help young people learn well, grow as individuals, and be prepared for wherever their future may take them.
